Busy schedule? No problem, daily, weekly, whenever needed, book in, and your “Best Buddy” will get those steps in!
Duration of a walk is 45minutes – 1 hour depending on energy levels
Group Walks – $30 + Pick up (Minimum $5 depending on your location)
One-on-one Walks – $40 + Pick up (Minimum $5 depending on your location)
We have group walks every Tuesday and Wednesday at 12pm. These are restricted to a maximum of 4 dogs per dog walker. The first few walks will be on-leash so we can gain trust and get to know your pup.
After building a relationship with your dog, we will do an assessment of your pups interactions and behaviour with other pups to ensure your dogs safety as well as others, and also an assessment of their recall ability (in a safe, enclosed environment).
Reactive Furbabies
Is your pup reactive or nervous around other dogs? Not a problem at all! Our one-on-one walks would be perfect for you!
If your pup is dog reactive, extra caution will be taken to ensure they don’t encounter other dogs, we want our walks to be stress free and fun! Depending on your pups behaviour, they can still have off-leash time at the St Ives Show Ground individual pens, where they will be safe from other dogs and still be able to run to their heart content! If this does not work for them, no worries, we can walk them on-leash around your suburb.

Desexing
Having your dog de-sexed is strongly recommended but not necessary. If you have a un-desexed female dog please ensure they are not on heat during any appointments, if they are on heat, bookings will need to be rescheduled.
Incidences
Your pets’ safety is the top priority, and every effort will be made to make their walks enjoyable and safe. However, there are always risks when it comes to dogs, please note that although they will be supervised at all times, incidents can occur, and Best Buddy’s Grooming & Pet Care will do everything in their power to keep all dogs safe and happy.
Health or Medical Problems
If your dog has any health or medical problems, please ensure Best Buddy’s Grooming & Pet Care is aware when booking a walk for your pup, this includes old injuries even if they’ve healed. If the issue is extensive don’t hesitate to contact us 0424 540 427 to discuss. If your “Best Buddy” does injure or re-injure themselves you will be contacted immediately.
Flea and Tick
Your dog must be on a flea and tick treatment, and checks must also be done regularly to avoid spreading any parasites to other dogs.
